                    If you using social network, I'm pretty sure you do know some of the current hottest trend that are being followed by many people. Trend can be good advantage and bad disadvantage depend on how you try to use it. Trend aren't only focus on being viral for some jokes or pointless things like wearing a hijab in 10 sec, parody politician or politic, selfies with shovel. The factor that affect trend in social network are influenced from people.How trend work? It could be your friends or family that show something interesting and you end up follow along doing the same thing and share to other, the recycle repeat.

                      WHAT THE CURRENT TREND ON SOCIAL NETWORK?
Here I provide some information about the current trend that are always appear on social network whether it is already popular or not. One of trend that already popular widely are taking a selfie with monopod. Yes, it something that you might know and maybe getting bored already but it still remains famous. Posting about food where before you eat, you capture the food first and post it on Instagram or Facebook. Another unique trend that I like is capturing a scenery view whether through video or camera, to me it is so wonderful because I get to see a beautiful scenery creation in our world. For example, my friends goes to Singapore Universal Studios and although we never see it on our naked eyes but atleast we do know how it look like. The newest trend is about GST where people post a picture contain their receipt of purchase. Maybe they post it to share before and after GST have implent, the changes on the price and so on.

                      HOW CAN YOU TAKE ADVANTAGE OF TREND IN SOCIAL NETWORK?
It so simple, identify the trend first whether you can gain anything from it and is it appropriate? if so, then you can proceed doing the same thing that the content do in your own way as you can use it for multipurpose. First of all, you can use the trend to promote your business since the trend attract viewer to watch it because it the hottest trend that happening. Second, maybe you can use the recent trend for Islamic purpose as you can removed the negative content and added a good one. I do remember back then when Oppa Gangnam Style was so popular and people in Malaysia love it. A religious man change the lyric and make his own Islamic style. Thirdly, there a trend that revolve around business like ice cream in flower pot where it is so unique. You can try your luck selling it since it one of the hottest food trend in social network. Most people would like to buy that after seeing the picture that their friends share on social network.

How about the trend that were unappropriate? well, just like what I mention on the first paragraph that negative trend are not a good idea to market your things. Negative trend may not appeal to most people and some of them might feel hurt. For example, again about the GST where many people snap the receipt and put on some provoactive statement that truly express their anger and concern. I hope you are not one of them because it just a waste of time since you cannot change nor avoid it. Other than that, negative trend not only influenced adults but also children whos maybe use the social network. Maybe they would like to try the trend too and then share it on social network without knowing their actions. Lastly, a useless trend that are just wasting your time by watching it.

                Having a trend on social network are good especially for marketing and campaign but only if you know whether it good or bad. You have the right to spread the trend but atleast try to reduce if it not necessary and pure worthless.
