The positive changes that social network brought in our current era

                    Today, most of the things that we do are always involve with internet and social network. The change that social network brought are significant as you no longer need to relied on some oldies things anymore. Back then, we always use SMS (known as Social Messaging Service) where we sent text to our beloved friends and family but now we don't have to do that anymore. Social Network like Facebook and Twitter  help us communicate with much easier and better interface than the old SMS system. As technology continue to evolve, internet is an important component to every human in this world and most people subscribe data plan,so social network intentionally or not take the advantage of the internet.

                  The most significant difference you can see from your naked eyes is the fee charge of each text. If you using SMS, you need to pay per text and the charge rate depend on your provider and where do you live. It turn out to be so different with social network like Facebook, Twitter and etc. For example, if you using Facebook, you can send a text message to anyone either he lives in Malaysia or outside of our country and most importantly its free as long as you have internet.

                 Before social network take over our worlds than it used to be, we always forget to wish a happy birthday to our loved ones on their important days due to heavy workload. Then, you have to call them while you are actually in busy situation which cause alot of hassle. Social network like Facebook able to solve this problem because it remind you the birthday of your friends which help you to remember. But right now, we can just wish a happy birthday from our Facebook. It simple yet easier to communicate and you don't need to wait for the respond as the birthday recipient will read it and reply back soon. You can easily check the notification that birthday recipient give while you not in busy mode.

               If you read from my previous post, you already know that big brands company use some popular social network like Facebook for their business purpose and of course to interact with their customers. It easier to read the customer feedback about their product and also to promote the product itself through the review the customer give in Facebook. Other than big brands, there are some online shop that really prefer selling their item online because they don't have to rent any local stores which save alot in term of budget.

            Lastly, social network help some organization to promote their campaign like protect the earth, help the homeless poor and many more. The organization will create a group page through facebook for volunteer that willing to help in term of time,money or energy. Plus, social network have the power to raise other people awareness of the current situation happen in our country too.

Vine - 6 second videos, meaningful?

                   

              Lately these day there a popular trend where you see someone record a video showing their ownself within 6 sec. This trends are so appealing to younger generation. Why do it have to be 6 sec, what can you show to the audience within that 6 sec and most importantly, is it worth it to watch it? it a social network website that called Vine, this social network only allow you to record the video within 6 sec.

                  The vine user enjoy it very much because of how the video were so short but you can pack plenty of action and content within that 6 sec. It also require creativity and expert at editing process so it can become interesting. These 6 sec managed to make you laughing out loud and addict to the video duration concept as it shorter but also meaningful. The interface of vine also stand out from the other social network because you only need to scroll down to see the next video without the needs of pressing the play button, the videos will autoplay itself.

                   From our opinion, the 6 sec concept were so good to be true because there are no social network that have these kind of gimmicks. It managed to grab new users from these gimmick and make them want to try record a video of these 6 sec concept too.

                    Sadly, we realize that Vine also have a flaw in terms of privacy and how it reflect our societies image. As you already know, Vine are not for Malaysian people only. Being so overreact , offensive and sometimes racist may cause other country to think badly about us, Malaysian. Secondly, the privacy are not so secure as you post the videos to public which expose you to any danger or threat  and also potentially cause some stalker and stranger to steal your video and save to their own harddisk for their own personal evil intention. If you never see a Vine videos then please do so. Here I compile two Vines video as one is in english and the other ones is in malay.

business organization start to promote their campaign through this social network.

Most used social network for marketers are Facebook, Twitter and Google.

each of them serve their own purpose and have difference fact and achievement.
Pinterest is a social network that have the largest oppurtunities
 in decor,cooking,fashion and health. While, Twitter are a unique social network because
you can only post up to 140 characters only. Next, Instagram is a social network that focused
on pictures and some videos with duration of 15 second.
On other sides, LinkedIn are for solely for business oriented,

 it a place to network your connection and associated with other corporate brands

Social Network are also a platform for jobseeker to secure their dream jobs because 94% of recruiters plan to take advantage of social network for recruiting. On the other hand, most recruiter agree that hire employees who from or used social network are generally 49% better in quality.

               Nowadays, there are so many things to talk about especially when its come to Social Network. Social network start to become part of us when the world have reach many kind of advance technology. Social network is a kind of platform where people from all over the world can share their daily life, thought, and argument. Social network also have a different kind of use because if you read our previous post, you can see that Facebook purpose is to communicate, sharing an update and etc. There are also social network that serve its purpose truly on videos sharing, that social network is Youtube. As you can see today, our post gonna be revolve around Youtube, its feature and goodness.

                 Youtube have been around even before Facebook were created, Youtube were owned by three paypal employees and later was bought by Google. Why do the public love Youtube as much as they love Facebook? Because it user-friendly and very convenience when it comes to searching a video. These video sharing social network is also pretty handful as you can search alot of reference in a form of video. For example, you can learn interactively online tutorial through the video in Youtube.

              The videos in Youtube are age-restricted so it safe for underage children to browse the site. Plus, there even a videos for these underage like educational cartooon. Elders also can enjoy the feature of Youtube, they can browse about how to baked a red velvet cakes or make a sandwich. Other than that, Youtube help promote talented organization, let says if you have a brilliant business or extraordinary talent that can be showcase, you should upload it to Youtube and whos know that there a chance an agency will cast you.

             

              People also can shares their concern and voice their opinion on any current issue in Youtube. It one of the feature that you can take advantage of, as most people will watch your videos and listen to your concern and maybe tries to help or support you in any possible ways. Overall you can do alot of things with Youtube if you know how to do it. One of the examples, my friend have a very cool smartphones such as iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and etc. This types of smartphones are perfect to capture and record video, they decide to share their moment through video and upload it to Youtube so that in the future, they can watch again that moment.

         The most popular social network, Facebook were created by Mark Zuckerberg to serve the purpose of social messaging, status update, upload photos and share video or news. Nowadays, most people have a Facebook account in order to get in touch with their long distance friends, relatives and family. Facebook also appealing to all kind of age and although it have a good impact on our life but it do also have many negatives impact to us .
 
         First of all, Facebook cause the user to not interact with other people, face to face. Chatting through Facebook cause you and your friends to lose the aspect of physical interaction such as handshake, hug or even express their emotion. Secondly, some user tend to priorities Facebook over their own family in order to spend more times with Facebook. It may cause some misunderstanding especially if you already married as your partner may think that they are not important. Plus, It was an unhealthy lifestyle considering you browse the website for 24 hour non-stop which lead to lack of sleep, tiring eyes and unbalance hormon. Some of us maybe use Facebook through phones but the effect are still the same.

       Aside from that, Facebook give bad influence to underage teen and children because Facebook get half of their income through advertisement include the negative ones. For example, advertisement of bad lifestyle, club and some explicit content. This leads the children and teen to try the things they very curious to know without knowing the danger. Using the adds friends concept on facebook, They also might exposes to bad strangers that waiting for a perfect time to proceed their dangerous intention, they also can be influence by them and be a victim of children abuse.

       As you know, your Facebook account are very vulnerable and don't have any boundaries or limits to be invade by hacker in order to get the information needed. The hacker and stalker may harm you in any circumstances and they might sold your privacy and information to some scamming organization.

       Lastly Facebook intentionally or not, spread some fake and pointless news that lead into provoking situation. The user shares the post or news that are fake and some of them might believe the news and voices out their opinion without knowing the real one. This kind of things usually happen in political view.  In a nutshell, Facebook is a great platform for social networking , it have plenty advantage and disadvantage so use it wisely to create better social communities.

Greetings everyone,
               
              We would like to introduce ourself as the member of Group 1BB. The purpose of this blog is to expose the true natures of social network worlds in term of it functions, changes and impact in our lives. First of all, we hope that we able to understand and work together in order to complete this assignment. This assignment were assigned from our lecturer, Madam Haiza and Sir Faisal. We would continue update this blog with plenty of meaningful post , two or once in a week. This assignment would be review and present soon.

                  As you can see, our worlds now have truly revolve around internet with computer and mobile smartphone as a medium to use it. IT era are going to expand and become more important than ever, social network will be affect by this change. Most people on this earth use social networking to interact and communicate as it easier and require no distance travel or time. Social network are universal to all ages from children till elder. Currently, we have so many popular social network application such as Whatsapp, Wechat, Telegram, Facebook and many more. Each of them have a different purpose, interface and styles.

                  Our vision and mission for this blog is to ensure our people especially Malaysian to make them aware about social network importance and it ability. So that the citizen able to take advantage and utilise it wisely. Why ? because some of us still aren't realize the importance of social network and they don't know how to use social network properly. As a university student, we are so thankful that we were blessed to have social network as its not only helped us gains material but also able to communicate with classmates and lecturer too.

                   All of the contents were written originally and we only take some reference or information regarding social network from Wikipedia and other informative website (not copy-pasted).
